Recommend Albums

Ok a quick heads up before we start this: TORRENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED, SO DO NOT POST THESE
Direct downloads from sites like mediafire and so on are allowed though, so you could post a link if you think the album is hard to come by.

I'll start with:

Medeski, Martin & Wood - Radiolarians III

The most recent album from a mostly unknown Jazz Fusion group. This album, created by three brilliant musicians, contains some of the finest and most mind blowing improvised music I've ever heard. The songs are also very varied, showing how versatile they can be. Recommended for anyone who likes improvised music, jazz or just music in general.

(click to watch)

Yes, he is playing a piano with a screwdriver. How awesome isn't that?

FLAC download:

(a private site hosted by a friend of mine, don't worry it's safe)
Experienced in private relations, and speaks English floatingly.

It doesn't have to.
The smug is really getting old.

And now on-topic.

Times of Grace's The Hymn of a Broken Man

If you are searching for an album with great energetic vocals and meaningfull lyrics you should really check this out
It is a metalcore album though but you should really check it out, is really different from the generic ****.

:siren: A recommendation from me! :siren:

If you're into Rock/Alternative, and maybe even blues, this album is really worth a listen. It's Muse's first studio album, and it really goes back to the bare basics of rock music. While tracks like Falling Down and Unintended are really slow paced and mellow, there are also really heavy tracks like Showbiz and Uno.

I still haven't checked that album out, I have checked every one of their albums except that one.
Black Holes and Revelations is my current favourite album from them though, people should also check that one out.

What did you think about The Resistance? Imo their best albums are all the pre-black holes era. Muse were my favourite band but they got bad after 2006 :saddowns:

Wake up, grab bear, grab rear.
Grow beard, put on some Times of Grace, the music of the year.
Gotta get drunk before the end of the cd.
Break-up with my girlfriend so I can be me.

Dark Castle - Spirited Migration

Utterly amazing female-lead hard hitting combo of doom/drone/sludge. Incredibly invigorating and great, there's no sound like it.

Dark Castle - Flight of Pegasus EP

The EP precursor to Spirited Migration. The recording is a bit rougher and a few songs from Spirited Migration are on it, but there are a few otherwise unreleased tracks, including a cover of Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter."
