I really got to get into soul more. But listening to the good stuff first makes the genre a downhill experience I suppose.

True. If you listen to the best of the best, you struggle to find another Wonder or Mayfield again.

I gotta start listening to him more, I heard Innervisions(the album) and I liked it
Also we're playing Sir Duke in "band class" in school, the middle part that is in unison is fun as hell to play :D

Also we're playing Sir Duke in "band class" in school, the middle part that is in unison is fun as hell to play :D

It's a task to figure how he composed some of this stuff.

I mean.. "Contusion" and "As" they both musically boggle my mind.

He even made a double album about Plants which was mostly instrumental. Love that album to death.
